Simply Calenders

If you want a calendar for your home or office, you could go out and buy one, or you could easily come up with a personalized calendar that reflects your personality and taste. You can do that with the Skerryvore Software Ltd-developed application Simply Calenders. Founded back in 2002 and based in the Orkney Isles, off the north coast of Scotland, Skerryvore Software Ltd is a company that specialized in the development of software products for general medical practice.

The Simply Calenders installation file is of 13.8MB; on a high-speed internet connection it will take little time for the download to complete. The installation process itself will also take little of your time. It must be mentioned that you will be asked to choose one of three installation types: Typical (all program features will be installed), Minimal (minimum required features will be installed), and Custom (choose which program features you want to be installed and where they will be installed). Regular users should choose the Typical option; advanced users should choose the Custom one.

Using the Simply Calenders application is a fairly straightforward matter, made even simpler by the fact that when you first run the application, a calendar creation wizard will greet you. Go through the steps presented by the aforementioned wizard and you will be able to easily and rapidly create a customized calendar for your home or office.

The calendar creation wizard will first ask you to choose a calendar type (choose between month, duplex month, year week, special, financial and academic calendars), a calendar style (choose between 3 month, strip, planner, planner with mini calendars, illustrated planner, illustrated with mini calendars, picture, right to left, and more), a year, and a language (support for multiple languages is provided). Then the wizard will ask you to choose a color scheme, select the national and religious events you want to be displayed on the calendar, pick the images you would like to be used in the calendar, choose if you want to mark Easter and Passover, choose if you want to mark the moon phases, and a few other bits. Suffice it to say that when you’re done with the calendar creation wizard, you will have a good looking and customized calendar all for yourself.

Once you’re done, you can save the calendar you created as a TIFF or PDF. Or you can save it as your desktop’s wallpaper.

Please note that Simply Calenders is only free to try. The option to save pictures is disabled in the trial version and a watermark is placed on the calendars you create.
